Chhapaiya –Allahabad Varanasi

Day 01 :Arrival Lucknow

Pick-up from railway station /Airport and check-in to Hotel. Latter have a city tour which covers –Chhota Imambara, Rumi Darwaza, overnight stay at hotel.

Day 02 : Lucknow – Ayodhya (200 km- 04 Hrs)           

After breakfast Vist to Bada Imambara , Drive to Ayodhya. we proceed to full day sightseeing of Ayodhya city. Ayodhya - a very holy city and is an important pilgrimage site. Lord Rama was born and had many of his pastimes here. It is said to have once had a perimeter of 96 miles and was the capital of Koshala. It is on the banks of the Gogra (Ghaghara or Saryu) River, bathing in which is supposed to destroy even the sin of killing a Brahmin. On the right bank of the river Ghagra or Saryu, as it is called within sacred precincts, stands the holy city of Ayodhya, believed to be the birth place of lord Rama, the seventh incarnation of lord Vishnu. Ayodhya during ancient times was known as Kosaldesa. The Atharvaveda describes it as "a city built by gods and being as prosperous as paradise itself". The illustrious Ikshvaku of the solar clan (suryavamsa) was the ruling dynasty of this region. Ayodhya is pre-eminently a city of temples yet, all the places of worship here are not only of Hindu religion. At Ayodhya several religions have grown and prospered simultaneously and also at different periods of time in the past. Remnants of Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism and Islam can still be found in Ayodhya. According to Jain belief, five tirthankaras were born at Ayodhya, including Adinath (Rishabhadeva), the 1st tirthankar. Check-in at hotel over night stay at Hotel.

Day 03 : Ayodhya- Chhapaiya (60 km -02 hrs)-Allahabad(200 KM - 4 hrs)

After breakfast, we proceed to Chhapaiya for Swaminarayan Temple, Chhapiaya - birth place of Lord Swaminarayan (1781-1830) and the main attraction of this place is the shrine of Swaminarayan. The saint was born here on 2nd April 1781, named as Sahjanand. Swami passed his early childhood in Chhapiaya . Latter drive to Allahabad. Over night stay at Hotel.

Day 04:-Allahabad- Varanasi ( 150 Km- 03 Hrs)

After breakfast, Enjoy the holy bath in river Ganga and in Sangam (Meeting point) of the three rivers - Ganga, Yamuna & Saraswati. Sangam - overlooked by the eastern ramparts of the fort, wide flood plains and muddy banks protrude towards the sacred Sangam. At the point at which the brown Ganges meets the Greenish Yamuna, pandas (priests) perch on small platforms to perform puja and assist the devout in their ritual ablutions in the shallow waters. Beaches and Ghats are littered and various holy rituals will be seen everywhere near Ghats. Latter, a local sightseeing in Allahabad like Hanuman Temple, Anand Bhavan- one of the country’s best-running museums in memory of Jawaharlal Nehru. Swaraj Bhawan -the house where the former Prime Minister of India Mrs. Indira Gandhi was born. Drive to Varanasi , overnight at Varanasi .

Day 05 :- Varanasi-Boat Ride – Temple Tour- Aarti

Early morning, we will be taken for a boat ride on the Ganges. It is a mystical and spiritual experience as you watch people offering water to the Sun God and devotees taking holy dip in the Ganges. Experience the different Ghats of Varanasi. Each Ghats has his own history and Hinduism value. Come back to hotel for breakfast. Latter we have a city tour to visit some temples on the Ghats, followed by the the Kashi Vishwanath Temple - one of the famous Hindu temple and is dedicated to Lord Shiva, where at least once in life a Hindu is expected to do pilgrimage, and if possible also pour the remains (ashes) of cremated ancestors here on the river Ganges. On the way visit Anpurna Temple, Sankatmochan, Vishwanath Temple in BHU. At evening, get ready to experience one of the most memorable moments of your life, as you will be taken for a boat ride on the River Ganges. Enjoy Ganga Aarti. Get a glimpse of the spiritualism at the Ganga Ghats (river front).Night stay at Hotel in Varanasi.

Day 6:- Varanasi- Sarnath– Drop to railway station

After breakfast we will be taken for an excursion to Sarnath. Sarnath is the place where Buddha delivered his first sermon to his disciples. The attractions at Sarnath are the Buddha temples, the Dhamekha stupa, Chaukhandi stupa and the archaeological museum. Later drop to railway station/ airport in Varanasi.
